Contract

One error envelope everywhere, with a stable code, a human message and the offending field. No parsing prose to work out what went wrong.

Limits

Plus 10 a second and 1 a second respectively. Past that you get a 429 with a retry hint rather than a silent drop.

Money

Quote in the buyer's currency and settle in yours, with the conversion recorded on the shipment rather than inferred from an invoice.
